Call for Presenters

The theme of this year’s Conference is “Unification for a Common Approach”.The idea behind this theme is to illustrate how collectively we can develop ideas, processes and procedures that can provide a common approach to meeting data compliance requirements proposed from the entities who are the consumers of our cadastral and GIS products. This would include but not limited to Local, State and Federal Government. If you have some methods or procedures you have implemented and feel that they have improved the quality of your data, we want to hear from you. Or, if you would like to participate as part of a panel to discuss these topics in an open forum please let me know.

Some additional topics relative to this year’s event may be derived from the following categories:

o    Meeting DOR mapping standards for Tax Roll approval

o    FACM educational program and future initiatives

o    Where to find the funding? Grants, Cost Sharing and Other Innovative Sources.

o    Editing tools for parcel mapping

o    Latest software developments for parcel mapping and GIS

o    Parcel editing workflow, CAMA update and synchronization

o    GeoDatabase design and administration

o    Ortho imagery, sensor technology and image processing

o    Oblique imagery and the cadastral map

If you would like to participate as a presenter at this year’s event please complete and return to bausolaj@paslc.org  the FACM Session Proposal Form. The form is in both Adobe PDF  and Word format.

If you know of other individuals who have made significant contributions to cadastral mapping or GIS, please encourage them to share  their experience by presenting at the FACM Annual Meeting and Educational Workshop. Please pass along the link to this website page.

There are several benefits afforded those selected to present at an FACM educational event:
